Lynne W. Scanlon
Lynne Waller Scanlon is publisher of Back2Press Books and the coauthor with the late Charles F. Ehret, Ph.D. of Overcoming Jet Lag, now updated and re-titled The Cure for Jet Lag. She has also written or coauthored two previous international bestsellers with hundreds of thousands of copies in print: The 21st Century Diet published by St. Martin's Press and Dr. Mandell's 5-Day Allergy Relief System published by HarperCollins Publishers. She has appeared on radio and TV throughout the country. She was a group publisher of developmental products (books, magazines, newsletters) at A/S/M Communications (publisher of AdWeek) and a consultant in marketing, special sales, to Barnes & Noble Books, the proprietary book publishing division of Barnes & Noble, Inc. Charles F. Ehret, Ph.D.
(March 3, 1923 — February 24, 2007)
Charles F. Ehret was a pioneer in Chronobiology and Chronotechnology, the developer of the first multifaceted (multi-zeitgeber) system to minimize the effects of jet lag and of shift work fatigue. He was Senior Scientist Emeritus of the Argonne National Laboratory, a research facility of the U.S. Department of Energy, operated by the University of Chicago in Argonne, Illinois; and President of General Chronobiotics. He was the coauthor with Lynne Waller Scanlon of the international bestseller, Overcoming Jet Lag, originally published by Berkley Publishing. He was also the author of Chronobiotechnology & Chronobiological Engineering (NATO Science Series E) published by Springer Publishing Company.
