Charles F. Ehret, Ph.D.
Charles F. Ehret was a pioneer in Chronobiology and Chronotechnology, the developer of the first multifaceted (multi-zeitgeber) system to minimize the effects of jet lag and of shift work fatigue. He was Senior Scientist Emeritus of the Argonne National Laboratory, a research facility of the U.S. Department of Energy, operated by the University of Chicago in Argonne, Illinois; and President of General Chronobiotics. He was the coauthor with Lynne Waller Scanlon of the international bestseller, The Cure for Jet Lag, originally published by Berkley Publishing Group He was also the author of Chronobiotechnology & Chronobiological Engineering (NATO Science Series E) published by Springer Publishing Company.
